The new city, Raseborg, is the Western Uusimaa municipality with the largest amount of museums. The museums represent town and rural culture, as well as the culture that arose from manors and ironworks in the region. The only three hospital museums in Western Uusimaa are situated in Raseborg. Amongst the museums, which also include specialized museums such as Svartå Manor, the oldest has been around for over 100 years, and the most recent museum only a few years.
