Iso-Pappila Main Building

> Lohjan Museo

The main building at the old vicarage was constructed in 1859-60 according to drawings made by architect August Boman. There is an impressive drawing room dominated by a sturdy dining table with accompanying chairs originating from Fagernäs manor. The drawing room set is thought to have been designed by Eliel Saarinen. The manor culture in the Lohja area is described in more detail in exhibition room one. Room two has been furnished as a vicar’s office. Room three is a 1970s style living room.

The ticket office, museum shop and museum office are also located in the Iso-Pappila building.
